Liverpool FC confirmed today that David Moores has resigned from the Club's Board of Directors.
Mr Moores will, however, retain his position as Club Honorary Life President.
Good riddance......he has single handedly ****ed us up

to be fair mate, Gerrard didnt go becasue of Moores. It was Parrys **** up not Moores.
I feel for Moores. His heart was in the right place but his business brain was grooming monkeys and eating their lice and fleas.
He should have sold out to DIC but he thought it was in the CLUBS intrest to sell to the yanks. Dont forget, at the time there were stories doin the rounds that DIC were going to sell the club after 7 years.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and Im sure Moores would change things if he could but what is done is done.
Good Luck David Moores and thanks for bringing in Rafa Benitez.

Mr Moores served this club to the best of his abilities and searched for years for new owners he believed would take us to the next level.
Unfortunately his abilities were limited and he was sold a lie by the yanks

Them selling us on after building us a new stadium and investing in the team to make us successful so as to allow them to make a huge profit from the sale.all achieved most likely without the level of debt we currently have

Wouldn't have been all that bad really would it.

He probably didnt think of that though, eight million things were distracting him.And he still clings to his freebie tickets

I agree on one thing though, thanks for Rafa.

So after all the money that was spent through out the 90s and 00s and in some cases out of his own pocket, he's not allowed to make a bit of money from the sale of the club? ****in hell mate, do you go to work for free? If you sold your car that you dearly love would you also like to make a bit of profit from it or would you give it away for nothing?

Maybe he has gone because the new owners have asked him to before the step up to the plate!

I think he regrets the sale as much as anyone.

He always had LFC in his heart, but unfortunately he is not the best of businessmen.

Totally agree man. I understand passions run high and we're all dismayed with how things turned out, but incompetence is not a crime. He didn't do it deliberately. The man is a hardcore Red and is clearly mortified about his mistakes. He ****ed up on just about the grandest scale but I will not vilify him for it. Believe it or not I still hold him in some affection.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
