Agreed, but my comments were related to the 45 minutes I watched of him. Nowhere did I say he was going to rip teams in the prem a new ar*ehole. I think he can be a useful player - just don't rely on him to put away chances.

It's nothing to do with being pragmatic, it's just obvious to realise that opposition such as St Gallen are vastly inferior to PL sides and therefore, one might be bright enough to reserve judgement, or at least not base it on 45 minutes in such a trivial run out.

If you choose to see it for what you want to see it as, then that's upto you. It explains the 'tower of strength' comment in relation to Voronin, certainly

Mate, I saw him for 45 minutes and thought he was a tower of strength in that game. Why should I let any prejudice of previous games affect what I thought of him in this? You're weird.
