I'm not blaming him by any means but i've thought for some time now that Insua is very ordinary. Certainly not as good as many make him out."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Actually Aquilani is to replace Alonso. He's just not fit right now. So Lucas it is for now and that's the way it's going to be. Rafa doesn't really have much else at the moment. So there's not much use bitching about him.Originally posted by liverpooltj View Postshocking that a team we hammered 5-0 a few months ago on their last visit are 2-0 up against us at Anfield! The summer promised so much as we all thought we would strengthen our attack and go for it this season but we are a shambles and have been since the start of preseason.
Lucas to replace xabi is the biggest joke ever!

A very poor performance ... against a team who have looked **** all year and had not scored a goal this season. This shaping up to be a major setback. Two defeats in three games is not how to go about winning the title.
I was about to say I'd be surprised if there were no changes as H/T but knowing Rafa it'll be the same lineup until 65+ mins.

Yep, he looks very weak also.Originally posted by Roberto Bobbolino View PostThought that myself. Half decent, no more. **** crosser, when he can be arsed to get forward.
Looking forward to Aurelio's return."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Why does everyone keep saying this we've had one of the best defences in the league for alot of that timeOriginally posted by el matador View Postthe zonal system has been a huge issue since rafa took over and we can see why.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The only consolation for me personally is that it was obvious with the signings we'd made that we hadn't a pot to piss in and were therefore going to get no closer than last year, while other sides spent big and moved past us. I'm disappointed as a fan naturally but genuinely not gutted by this start to the season as for me it was always on the cards due to a failure to build on last year's platform...instead of a few key, class signings, we've shed personnel and basically moved a few things around a bit, but failed to add to the overall sum of the parts.
Fourth place squabbling again by the looks of it. And blame lies mostly with the ****ing yanks IMHO.

True. It is just a pity that we may have a mountain to climb when Aquiliani is fit to play.Originally posted by Zapater View PostActually Aquilani is to replace Alonso. He's just not fit right now.
