Gerrard missed sitter early on. We should have scored then and the game would be easier. Against Stoke we did well as we scored early and messed up their game plan. Terrible half of football. There is no urgency when going forward, and we haven't the players to pass through the crowded midfield. Take off Lucas and bring on another attacking player and drop Gerrard into Midfield.

Well manure did batter Wigan 5 goals in the second half. With basically a sh*t team including Owen. However, they looked like they gave a damn. Torres, Gerrard and Benayoun need to get out of their own egos or leave the club tonight!

Gerrard was a fantastic second striker when we had Alonso pulling the strings behind him. Lucas isnt up to that. I aint gonna blame him, but it is simple as that. Once Alonso left, I was deading this season. When the septic cunts failed to put transfer funds, even more so. Gonna be a long season & I have about as much appetite for it as the players seem to. Pathetic performance, but after 10 minutes I could feel it coming.
