Why is our turnover so low? I don't understand how chelsea can have a bigger turnover than us.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostOld figures that have gone up, and Man City are probably in the top three now.

The bit in bold makes little difference...ok, so we didn't pay it all in one lump sum, but at the end of the day, we're gonna have to pay it...we probably still owe money for Torres as well, and maybe Johnson, so it all adds up.Originally posted by Bender View PostAquilani deal could rise to £20million, only £4.3million was paid up front with further payments to follow in January and next June.forget it Rafa will not get the money he craves to spend on transfers

It's very rare that players are paid for with one lump sum though, so if we're paying in installments, that's pretty normal. And Pompey owed us £7m on Crouch still, so that comes out of the Johnson fee.Originally posted by Scratch View PostThe bit in bold makes little difference...ok, so we didn't pay it all in one lump sum, but at the end of the day, we're gonna have to pay it...we probably still owe money for Torres as well, and maybe Johnson, so it all adds up.

It's just very dodgy when you think about the intentions of demanding the full cash for Alonso, yet paying in installments for Aquilani.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostIt's very rare that players are paid for with one lump sum though, so if we're paying in installments, that's pretty normal. Possibly. But it might just be that everyone knows how minted Madrid are and how desperate they were for Alonso.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIt's just very dodgy when you think about the intentions of demanding the full cash for Alonso, yet paying in installments for Aquilani.

But what difference does it make getting the money now or later. I personally think the money just went towards paying off other debts.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostPossibly.
