Does anyone know when the squad for the group stage has to be submitted? has ours already gone in?

I'm sure I heard today that Hargreaves is in the Utd squad so I presumed they had been submitted??

Buried deep in the CL regulations it says that the A list of players must be submitted by midnight CET on the 1st of September.

i was merely making a mockery of your pointless request.

I can however confirm that according to Uefa.com the liverpool squad has not been submitted yet, as a result LFC will feel the full wrath of Uefa as they impose a £327 fine on the club. Now whilst that looks like a nothing amount, it is....

a) the maximum fine UEFA can impose in such an instance
b) the exact amount that the yanks currently have in cash which in effect is what the club is running on, so once the fine is paid (due by BACS tomorrow by 11am with the completed squad list or we face further punishment) it will plunge the club into further financial crisis, into administration, 30 points deducted from our league campaign and ultimatley thrown out of Europe and banished to Peru
