You base that on MOTD, there ******s the lot of them.

Anyone who listen's to anything remotely BBC over the past couple of weeks would see a marked difference between what is actually happening and what they tell you is happening especially Radio 5live.

We had a decent 1st half, it all crumbled in the 2nd half.

      I wouldn't class Hansen as a ****** btw.

The things he highlighted regarding Insua was pretty damning, especially the way he let Zamora stroll through for Fulham's 1st and he could have reacted quicker to stop the cross for the 2nd goal.

He's having a tough time at the moment, time to take him out of the firing line I think.

The BBC might be a shower of ******s but are you saying they are wrong with regards Insua? You're happy with a left back who is costing us goals on a regular basis?

He's struggling Marky and needs to get his confidence back. Problem is, you likely understand that. What you don't is that we have to play him at present, as there is nobody else.

Your hero Dossena has not been fit this season, whilst Aurelio is out with an ilness. Who do you want to play there? Voronin

Fair enough there ain't alot of options but anything to shift Insua from the starting line up. Young Kelly could perhaps do a job there?

Just someone solid and reliable, nothing fancy... Carra could have done a job at left back if he still had the legs for it.

We're missing Arby, for a right footer i always thought he played alot better at lb.

insua is truggling no doubt about it but he is a good player......just not a great one. he has no real pace and as such commits a hell of a lot of fouls on players once they are past him as their pace will easily beat him. defensively he needs a lot of work but that is something he can work on. but once fit, fabio aurelio should be our first choice left back. he is much better and in the **** patch as we have found ourselves since august, he is needed.

He refused to play RB ( Sunderland Last season by the way IMO the game that cost us our shot at the title) So what chance we got to get him playing at LB and on present form I wouldn't entertain him a place anywhere in the back four

He's a good young player, one that we'd be raving about if he played for one of our rivals. He's suffering from a dip in form and the hyper critical nature of this thread is moronic. That enough of a defence your honour?

When we have a player fit enough and good enough to take his place I will entertain this argument. He has been very poor of late and it would probably be better for him and the team if we could take him out the firing line. But at present we do not have anybody.

Kelly is out with his ankle and is not a LB anyway. Carra would not be the best option at LB, but put him there and we have no CB anyway. The only one I would even consider is Aurelio. And he is out injured.

When we actually get some players fit you can make your case then. By that time he may have played himself into form, or made more mistakes. We'll have to see.

He may well have played a part in the first goal, but we equalised after that.

The 2nd goal was in my mind 95% kuyts fault. Chasing back keeping a ball in with only one direction the bloody thing could go. Degen should have reacted quicker possibly.

The third was 11 against 9 and Reina dived out of the way.

Now re look at the first half and see which player retained the ball and supported the attack at every given opportunity, ah yes our friend Mr Insua. One of the few players that actually looks comfortable with the ball at his feet.

There were many players further up the field that were poorer than Insua.

Only cunts seek out to attack our young players when the TEAM is struggling.

In the first half Insua and Deggen were both pushing on and looking comfortable on the ball. Lucas was also doing well. Mascherano on the other hand was invisible, and there was too little movement from our front four, Benny apart (Torres was injured but Kuyt and Voronin should have caused more trouble). Lucas faded in the second-half, and neither full back got forward as effectively - and front four moved around even less. My dead granny could have man marked Voronin or Babel!

For the first goal Deggen was too slow to close duff down and Insua went to sleep. For the second goal Kuyt was stupid to try to keep the ball in, Deggen was daft to make a run on the assumption he would keep it in, and Insua got his positioning slightly wrong. The third goal was 11 v 8 for god's sake.

In my view Insua is mainly in need of a rest, as is Lucas.
