totally agree, i thought i was going mad
- i thought last night, and so far this season, Kuyt's first touch has been 10x better (it no longer goes straight up in the air), he looks as sharp as anyone which means his awareness and movement has been excellent, has been holding the ball up well, and all round he has played pretty decent and consistent.Plus i am quite pleased with the goals he has scored. Poacher goals that we have lacked for ages - the type of goals a fowler or Aldo, or even van nisteelrooy for the mancs used to score - reacting to dodgy bounces, deflections, following in shots etc. I expect people will use the typical arguement of well he is a striker thats what he should - ffs give him a break - sometimes there is just no pleasing some people - they expect every single player to peform like Pele on speed, for every single minute.
Well said.
