Due to the lack of point today we'll agree to disagree though I think the balance is in my favour currently.
And if they are not motivated they should hand over the shirt and piss off.

Seriously do people even bother thinking most of the time or is it easier to live on reaction?

Some shocking buys compounded by his sheer stubborness. He was lucky in istanbul and has been living off that ever since.

Its time to bring in someone else. like another poster said if we lose against lyon we are basically ****ed.
We came close to winning the league last season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We nearly won it last year. And I could put Istanbul down to fluke had we not made it to the final in 2007 as well.

It's all about expectations at a club like Liverpool. Too many of our fans think we should be winning the league every year. Our club is well past the glory era.

The minimum for me is a decent gtitle challenge. We are not mounting one at the moment, but that can all change if we hit top form.

                The goal is so tragic
The bloody kid next to the LFC fan (with the yellow and red scarf) who threw the beachball onto the pitch wants "hanging"

I hope he's happy with his contribution..I hope the club identifies him and bans the numpty

The wheels have fallen off our title challenge this year - painful stuff after the optimism of last season. Rafa has to take some responsibility for not addressing our biggest weakness in the summer - namely the lack of decent cover for Torres. None of our other strikers offer a consistant goal threat. Let be honest. With hindsight, we should have been in for Owen on a free.

We have too many mediocre players in the squad - Babel, Lucas, Voronin... when we need someone to step up and make a difference, none of the above are going to do that for us.

Let's try not to go overboard with the Rafa out comments is it guys? He's the same manager who took us so close last season. He hasn't become a bad manager in 2 months. I hope to god we're looking at bringing in a decent backup striker in January!

like gillette said, him and hicks dont pick the team and sign **** players.

We can slag them off all we want. But ultimately, we have seen players like torres and mascherano in our team because of them. Yes, its not perfect.

The blame should lie fair and square with rafa, he signs the dross and he plays them.

So all of you calling for Rafa's head (I should call you fickle fans), who would you replace him for?

Taking too long for the subs to come on. Again.

                          Reina was really good today.

**** it, fed up with it all.

bit unfair on the lad, look at the drosss he was playign with......if he had gerrard or masher next to him it would have been different.

didnt see the game ......but that was spearings first premiership start i think and lucas has had 53 give the kid a break

Were we in the race last season? We had an incredible run in our last 11 games but SCUM still won with games to spare.

Reina - 7/10 - did well enough and made a great save
Johnson - 7/10 - powerful going forward and a good attacking threat
Skrtel - 4/10 - piss poor in distribution, looked nervous and clumsy
Carra - 5/10 - similar to Skrtel, too many shaky moments and some basic errors
                              Agger - 5/10 - looked rusty & was caught a few times
Aurelio - 3/10 - powder puff defending, hesitant, caught out, rabbit in head lights. Corners hit the 1st man on just about all occasions.
Spearing - 4/10 - no effect on the game, poor passing, chasing shadows
Lucas - 5/10 - no threat at all, too static, again chasing shadows
Babel - 4/10 - missing for most of the game, crap 1st touch, poor with the ball when he had the chance to do something dangerous with it
Beny - 5/10 - didn't spark today, didn't get into the game that much and when he did seemed to hold it too long
Kuyt - 5/10 - hard graft as ever, but can't play as the lone man, yet Rafa persists when Torres is out.

Subs - Nothing of note. N'gog could have scored I suppose.

Overall - piss poor performance, from team and manager. Dodgy side to pick by Rafa and did himself no favours by leaving the changes so late.

The lack of signing a back up striker was a big error. With regards to this season, our major signing being out injured was also a big blow.
