didnt see the game ......but that was spearings first premiership start i think and lucas has had 53 give the kid a break
Still was the worst player on the pitch. Noone else had Gerrard or Mascher by their side today either.

Give rafa until the end of the season at least. Getting rid now would put us in a worse position. If he doesn't sort it by the end of the season i would like to see Hiddink come in or capello.

Would you hold onto him if we were struggling to get 4th?

The panic Man Utd played with proved that we were in the race. Even Gary Neville admitted we were in it. Man Utd won the league with two games to spare, after nervy wins over Spurs and Villa amongst others.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, I am obviously not happy tonight and I know why people are fed up, but we came closer to winning the league last season that at anytime in the Premier League era and Rafa deserves to at least get the benefit of the doubt for that alone in my opinion.

We are two months into the season and getting rid of the manager now without a clear replacement seems to be the kind of thing clubs like Newcastle do. Liverpool don't sack managers that easily. Rafa should be given until the end of this season and then assess the situation again.

                  I'm not sure that's true

There hasn't been enough investment in the squad. That is the septics' fault.

What makes it worse is that the scum could well fluke the title again
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Would you fire him now after our closest challenge in years last season? Before seeing how the team does when all our major players are in the side?

Let's see where we are after Xmas before loading up the gun.

As **** as this season is so far the worse thing we can do is get rid of rafa when things are tough. That is stuff newcastle do and look what happened to them!

I'd give Rafa the season, there's little point in changing managers mid-season, it very rarely has a positive effect in top clubs.

Is it not?? Genuine question - I can't think of anytime we've come closer? We did get 2nd under Ged, but I don't recall us leading the table for a couple of months that year or being a point behind the leaders in April as we were last year (although the Mancs had a game in hand admitedly)

We need put this in perspective, we had our two best players out injured in Gerrard and Torres, Mascherano and Insua two regulars this season weren't deemed fit enough to start. Aqualani injured, Lucas also had a long journey back and probably hadn't trained and probably wouldn't have played if other players were fit and was playing with a kid making his debut along side him.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
