    Bump

Took his goal well today, He could have choked under the pressure of the game and having time to think about it but retained his composure to seal a great result
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's a bit raw but that's obviously down to lack of experience. Certainly got something about him though - **** his record with PSG - I bet his goals to minutes ratio since he's been here us pretty impressive.

I couldn't agree more mate i thought he took his goal brilliantly considering he had a lot of time to think about it and was up against a very experienced keeper. Ngog is obviously raw but he has shown us that there is something about him that shows promise that he can become a useful player.

Hopefully this will give him a major confidence boost and he can be a good impact sub and get a few important goals for us

Total Premiership minutes in his LFC career so far:

                368 minutes

                4 goals

                = A goal a game

Very, very impressive stats so far to be fair.

If it were one of Arsenals youngsters or that Macheda fella from scum, there would've been a right media wankfest.

Tied with Owen in league goals this season, though obviously Owen was a masterstroke signing by "Fergie".

That was a very missable chance against a tough goalie. He took that goal exceptionally well and made it look as easy as only Torres could have made it look. Could work on his movement and overall final ball but no questioning his predatory instincts when given the ball in proper areas.
                              One tit for another.

We're talking about his skill level and how he affects the team when he plays for them, which he seems to be doing quite a bit this season. If a player doesnt perform then he's a bad buy.

Not that I agree on N'Gog not performing anyway. I think he done okay for us so far, and that includes the other night when he was horribly isolated at times.
Vlahka you have made some seriously stupid comments recently and i can only put them down to you being pissed off with Liverpool. Fair enough.

Because slating a yound lad like N'Gog and comparing him to a £17m signing like Nani is bordering on insane. Nani at Sproting Lisbon was an established player and was fully expected to turn up at United and put pressure on the first team with immediate effect. He has failed to live up to that billing.

N'Gog was not even established at PSG and was hardly considered back up to the first team either there. He is not yet good enough to lead the line for Liverpool but he is still very early in his development.

When N'Gog plays in the reserves he stands out as our best attacking player, better than Amoo, Eccleston and a confidence shorn Nemeth last year. He deserves to be where he is in the team because he is probably our best option due to an under performing Babel and Voronin.

I think it's a crying shame that N'Gog is being asked to do the job of a seasoned professional - he's no Rooney or Owen wonderkid - but it's not his fault Liverpool Football Club did not bring in adequate cover For Torres.

But he did well against Leeds, less so against Lyon. Maybe a goal against United will see him kick on.
