Lads, I was at the game yesterday & am still on a high. But I have to say that I'm on the verge of crossing the channel to **** about 20 journos unless this Rafa/LFC bashing stops.
I'm no Paul Tomkins but whats gone on in the past week has been nothing short of disgraceful. The Sunday Times, The Observer, The Telegraph, The Times, The Mirror (Lipton), The S*n (all ****s but McGarry especially) all had hatchet jobs on Rafa leading up to this game. And what do we get this morning????
The Times leading with Fergie blaming it on the ref & Paddy Barclay putting it down to Utd being poor. The Guardian saying we're now just a one man team & Paul Hayward unable to resist another dig at Rafa.
Whilst I consider myself Irish (I've lived here with my Irsh born parents since my early teens) I grew up in Liverpool. The conbination has engrained in me a sense of community that I hope never leaves me. As a result I REALLY take this stuff personally. I presume that there are thousands of scousers out there with the same rage. So why not urge Rafa to forge the siege mentality that now exists within the club. The only journo worth reading on Rafa is DIon Fanning (see yesterdays outstanding article here where he correctly predicts how yesterdays game would go.. http://www.independent.ie/sport/socc...r-1924087.html)
I don't know what I'm trying to achieve with this thread but I guess I'm looking to see if anyone else has reached my tipping point

Especially in sport, where most have absolutely no sense of neutrality when reporting (making up) the story.
