German club Hertha BSC have refused to deny the rumours surrounding the potential exit of Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin.
The Ukraine international was on loan with the Bundesliga club last season and returned to Merseyside during the summer amidst speculation that he was headed back to the German capital.
Recent reports in Germany have hinted at a potential move for the Reds' striker, but the club's general manager, Michael Preetz, kept his cards close to his chest.
"We are only able to buy unattached players at this point this season and there is no unattached player able to help this club," Preetz told spox.com.
"I am only willing to look at the situation right now and I have faith in the manager and the team."
Hertha are currently rock bottom of the Bundesliga, following eight losses from ten games so far.

Think he did celebrate, sort of, as you say with an unvoluntary action, his arm sort of moved up, then it was as if he seemed to realise this and stopped himself lifting his arm up fully.
