German club Hertha BSC have refused to deny the rumours surrounding the potential exit of Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin.

The Ukraine international was on loan with the Bundesliga club last season and returned to Merseyside during the summer amidst speculation that he was headed back to the German capital.

Recent reports in Germany have hinted at a potential move for the Reds' striker, but the club's general manager, Michael Preetz, kept his cards close to his chest.

"We are only able to buy unattached players at this point this season and there is no unattached player able to help this club," Preetz told spox.com.

"I am only willing to look at the situation right now and I have faith in the manager and the team."

Hertha are currently rock bottom of the Bundesliga, following eight losses from ten games so far.

And are you going to question his lack of committment?
Well hopefully this will inspire Voronin to up his game and perform better when he gets a chance.

Did Rafa celebrate at all when the second went in? I didn't see I was too busy celebrating myself!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don’t think so. I know we should be used to it by now, but it really does amaze me how he can keep his emotions under control. After everything that happened in recent weeks you’d have expected some sort of involuntary reaction.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Think he did celebrate, sort of, as you say with an unvoluntary action, his arm sort of moved up, then it was as if he seemed to realise this and stopped himself lifting his arm up fully.

Or was that for the 1st goal. ?

I pray that I see the day Rafa runs onto the pitch in celebration, arms aloft and jumping upand down, celebrating the goal that seals the first of his many PL titles.....

Nah. When it happens, he'll probably just make a tactical hand gesture to an imaginary player and look at his watch.

... which will then be inturpreted by the press and certain other managers as arrogance and not showing respect to any of the teams in the league

With regards to Voronin, he celebrated the first goal with Torres and the other subs.

The second he was very cool, but so was I. I knew the time left on the clock and knew that the ref would blow full time as soon as the ball came back up the pitch. So I had already accepted that we had won the game prior to the goal. Due to this I just shouted "Get in" or something.

For the first one I was jumping and shouting like a mad man, totally lost the plot. I doubt Voronin had the same reasons for being cool the second time, but you never know.

                          This is the latest rumour..................
Rumour has it that Andriy Voronin could be on his way to Greece. The striker, not that the Ukrainian has done much striking for Liverpool, has struggled badly on Merseyside since his arrival and only found some good form on loan in Germany last season. Since returning to Anfield in the summer Voronin's struggles have continued and he hasn't featured since a woeful display against Lyon early in November.

Panathinaikos are rumoured to be interested in the Ukrainian international and could pay as much as 1.5m euros for him, however a loan with the option to buy is also being rumoured.

What's happened to him though as he's completely disappeared from our first 16.
