Are we asking for a media silence from ex players when things aren't going well? Can they only speak positively and not voice their opinions if its negative?

I don't understand where people are coming from with this type of comment (which you see a lot of whenever anyone has something not supportive to say). Castro should take over this club, he'd feel right at home.

Do you think Riera's injuries haven't helped?

It's weird because Liverpool have Benayoun, Insua, Mascherano defending busy areas when in fact their pace (or movement) could be well utilised on the half way line much like Barcelona who stick Messi, Iniesta and at times last season Eto'o.

Redknapp is an absolute cock as pundit and football analyst.

This is something that frustrates me about defending set pieces, if we left a couple of players up, the opposition would have to leave at least a couple (if not more) back to mark them. Leaving them with less bodies in the box
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I wonder how many other teams do this? seems crazy to invite so much pressure in the box.....and lets face it, we couldnt do any worse with less players in the box!!!

Redknapp can **** off, he's ****e as a pundit and as a player he wouldn't have got anywhere near the current first team.

Redknapp was class and when fit, would've walked into the squad.

This site is so predictable whenever an ex player has something negative to say, or likewise when anyone has something positive to say.

He would have walked into the squad but not the first 11

Not sure about that. Rather have him in the middle than Lucas.

The fact that Jamie sicknote Redknapp sticks the boot in and seems incapable of understanding the extent of the current injury crisis is ironical.

there are similar excuses to abuse an explayer everytime one of them has something negative to say.

Criticising the team is one thing but this is just insulting to both the manager and the fans: "They have won one in 10 now and fans will be thinking. They are firmly behind him, though, he manipulates the fans, he gets them how he wants them." What a cock.

I always like the way these "experts" know exactly how to manage a team and get the best out of the players and everything, even though they've managed absolutely no team themselves.

How the **** do Andy Gray and Redknapp know so much about management of a PL team when they've never done it?
