We were poor today, to be honest, Reina bailed us and we scored two goals from nothing. We only had one good attacking play with Johnson crossing to Insua and a bit from Benayoun when he came on, but we still won.

Not really sure who was our best player. Reina probably, followed perhaps by Mascherano and Carragher.

We didn't half need that result. A tough away game at Blackeye Rovers next week, can't see Aquilani starting in that. I imagine as someone said in the match thread that he'll start against Fiorentina.

Not the best performance but a good result, two goals, clean sheet, up to 5th a couple of points from 4th, Kuyt getting a goal should give him confidence, and some players coming back to fitness. Not a bad day!
