- it's sad and depressing but talking about this leaving anfield last night - and me and my mates agreed that if we some how, pulled our fingers out and went and finished 4th in the league, and won the fa and europa cups - then it would actually save some face.

Right now - the way things are and the way we look - i'd be ****ing estactic if we did that.

We're a spoilt bunch you know.

Winning the UEFA Cup and FA Cup, plus finishing in the top 4 is a fantastic achievement by any standards, in any season. I'll await to be shot to pieces about 'should be challenging for the league, blah blah' but the thing is, we have been in recent years up until this season. Can't do it every year, next year we will again hopefully.

We have been due a **** season for a few years and if winning the Europa Cup constitutes a **** season then I wish we were always that ****. As for the FA Cup, don't think it's a priority of Rafa's, so I'd expect the closer we get to 4th place, the less likely we'd be to winning a domestic cup. JMO
