Portsmouth 2-0 Liverpool - POST MATCH

7 defensive players, too deep, too negative, absolutely crap showing. We played 442 on wednesday and won, our best player on that night was arguably Ngog and he doesn't even get a look in today. Torres having to run back to half way line to collect the ball. No creativity anywhere in the team and we cant get the ball forward. Invite pressure all day long.

3 wins from last 11 in the league

Rafa Benitez should resign tonight, he has totally lost it. All season, same crap game after game.

Let King Kenny pick the team till the end of the season. Anybody could pick a better starting 11 than Rafa right now

Shambles - Rafa would appear to be unable to change it around, there are senior players that need to be not on the pitch.

Let the king return and get us back on track. If he does a good job let him have it full time. This is so so bad only somthing like this will help us out.

argh! That was awful, fortunately I had a problem with sky meaning I didn't have to see most of the last 20mins

We need to make a number of changes for the next game, in system as well as players, we lack creativity, we started with only two real attacking players (Gerrard and Torres) We created nothing. None of the midfield (Gerrard aside) are capable of creating anything. We need more attacking players to come in in January

It's akin to having to make the decision about putting your faithful old pooch out of it's misery.

I don't really want him to go but it might be for the best.

Why in the **** do people think changing manager now, because of what is admittedly a very bad spell after our best in 20 years is the right thing to do?

This is it for me - Rafa should do the right thing and just resign, there is simply no faith in him left!

Bring in Klinsmann, snoopy or whoever - we just need something new to this team

Absolutely clueless - the team and the manager. One of the worst defensive displays I have seen from a defender in Insua. SG doesn't seem bothered. Kuyt headless. Lucas tries, but is just not good enough. We need to make some serious transfers in the Jan transfer window - given Rafa's record in transfers, we'll have tosign about 8 payers in the hope a couple pay off. F*ck this is worse, worse than Houllier's tenure!!!!

Gerrard is not creating anything, he has been awful the last few games.

I'm not sure Dalglish would be able to make the impact required in modern football, he's been out of management for 10 years
