The article says 'earn' rather then specifying wages. But then earn is even less accurate.

Yeah and it says hes getting his signing on fee in his wages for the first year.

Well he's not really, is he? Half of it goes into the treasury

No, he's probably 'on' about 40 grand a week, but when he signed he got a joining bonus of £4m which was paid in 12 monthly installments, or something similar.

Edit: Apologies for my bender-esque tardiness.

A 2 bedroom house every week for going to training for a couple of hours every morning.

Add up wages, signing on fee, bonuses, sponsorship deals, image rights and the rest - and yeah, maybe equates to £6m a year.

Yep. Still the fact he receives £120k a week from us - if true (and it's been said all along he was on £60k) - is depressing. Ridsdale-esque.

I wonder if any club ever made such a **** transfer window last summer as we did? Surely it must be down there as one of the worst ever made.

Looks like they're determined to put an end to this sort of stuff and if we have a huge wage bill it'll be because we have a brilliant squad. Good to see, we've been run horrendously for years.

Yep. 120k a week for Jovanovic. Staggering.
