If it was a recent thing I might agree, but as I say he's been like this since the start of the season. I think he's pissed that Xabi left (or possibly that he's not been allowed to have an operation and is thinking about the world cup) and has been sulking which has dragged down morale and confidence in the whole squad, that's not good enough from a Captain.

If what's being suggested is true, then it's a weakness of mentality and character - a sign of human nature perhaps. He's not doing it on purpose.

And if he's a ******, what's your definition of a 'supporter' who openly abuses one of the best players and legends his club's ever had? Club captain and longtime talisman and saviour, too.

Whatever i may think of our players and what they do on a pitch, and whatever criticisms i might have of their performances etc, it'd never enter my mind to come outright and call them a '******'.
