I don't think so. Much though I appreciate that there have been an awful lot of rather similarly toned threads around these parts recently, and without a doubt it would have been better if some of them had been merged with each other, I don't see a catch-all thread ever working, either for positivity or negativity. It would also be quite divisive and we've enough of that to contend with already imo.

But amongst ourselves, discussion is fine and neither those who want the manager to stay, nor those who want a change, are any lesser of a fan, for feeling as they do.

These are footballers we're talking about. Not the smartest folk going around. You or I would of course be motivated to be earning that sort of cash. Premier League footballers on the other hand feel its their god given right to make that sort of money...just for kicking a ball around. Of course they need further motivation.

Sure some don't need the motivation, but the majority do IMO. There are many forms of motivation BTW.

Good post Harv. Something drastic has to happen, and even though your measures are a bit drastic, if we agree that the players are not playing for the manager, or he can't motivate this squad, then it's one of two solutions really.

They have a tremendous influence on the dressing room, and not in a good way IMO. With the money those two, along with the other dross generate we could rebuild.

Drastic indeed, but IMO something drastic needs to be done....otherwise we will carry on in this fashion with th next muppet that takes over.

No offense my friend, but take your head out of your ass and see what is happening on the field. There is a problem at Anfield and fans have a right to voice their opinions. Rafa has clearly lost the dressing room, cos the players are not playing.
I wish some of our fans start taking off their rose tinted glasses and look at the situation for what it is and not what they think will happen.
Liverpool football club is in deep trouble on the pitch, we really need to find some spark and kick our season off. Its been 20years without a league title, and that is unacceptable for this club. So if Rafa has to go then he must, if he can turn things around, then brilliant.
