Scared ****less of this one. As an OOTer this is the biggest game for me every year as 90% of my friends and family are gooners. I pray we win this one but I'm not massively confident.
Despite our pony record away at Arsenal, I'm confident about this. Huge game and if we can grab a win then 4th is looking very good indeed. I'd like to see;
I think Ngog has done well the last few games, but Kuyt is on form and a Maxi-Gerrard-Riera combination is very offensive - let them do all the hard work and have Kuyt in the six yard box.
I actually like this lineup, hope we'll see it tonight, that front four could wear and tear their back for and keep them very busy.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
Liverpool winger Maxi Rodriguez starts ahead of Albert Riera for the second game running against Arsenal tonight, according to LFC Globe sources.
Martin Skrtel, who replaces suspended Sotirios Kyrgiakos, starts alongside Daniel Agger with Jamie Carragher and Emiliano Insua completing the back four.
Javier Mascherano and Lucas Leiva start in midfield, with Alberto Aquilani not in the squad due to illness.
Dirk Kuyt, Steven Gerrard and Maxi Rodriguez play just behind lone-striker David Ngog.
Albert Riera, Dani Pacheco, Fabio Aurelio and Ryan Babel are all on the bench – still to be confirmed.
Interesting that Pacheco is in there but I guess regardless of quality Arsenal are the most lightweight team physically and if we were doing well could be a great option.
