I'll be shocked if Maxi ends up a success here. I'll give him time but my feeling is that he'll be back in his home land within 12-18 months.

if that shot had gone in there would be a number of people on here creaming themselves. a goal masks a lot in some peoples view. and I mean a lot.

I don't love the guy, far from it. But in a squad that is great at battling away, defending and nicking the odd goal, to actually have a player with the ability he has and not play him more is almost criminal.

We don't have money to buy the likes of Silva, Turan etc. We are looking at free players, this is the best we can expect, get used to it.
