Im not talking about tonight mate. I am talking about the whole season. We did what chelsea did to arsenal on sunday but the big difference was they had drogba and anelka upfront where we had Ngog.

Fair play. I'd go along with that, but even N'Gog managed to get himself through on goal, just lacked the muscle to find a finish.

Season's been poor overall, but it's been a weird one throughout, not just for us.

12 games still to play, and Chelsea have lost 4 already, mancs 5, arsenal 6 and us 8

Sooner the season finishes (with us securing 4th place) & the world cup starts, the better. It'll be nice to watch tonnes of football in the sunshine every day for a month, without the stress of giving a **** who wins

I havent seen it on TV and MOTD left it out of their highlights, but i see no reason why Gerrard, when marauding through towards goal, would just tumble, unless he was bundled over.

Regarding the 'toothless' in attack thing, both sides were keen to make sure they didnt lose and i dont think they created a hatful themselves, but as the home side and the more creative personnel, they were always going to have more chances than us.

I thought we were always in the game and controlled spells of it, but lacked the cutting edge in the final third, which is gonna happen with a rookie kid leading the line on his own.

We didnt create a barrage of chances, but we had our striker go through on goal and we had a couple of other half chances, as well as being very unlucky with a great effort being tipped onto the bar.

As i said, i havent seen it on tv. It's easier to see on the screen than from 14 rows back, where you only get one view of it.

I agree. Its totally out of character. I can't ever remember him diving in his 12 years in the first team.

I thought we were pathetic, yet actually derserved to win.

Think you'll finish 4th, but that was one of the worst/defensive performances a team has given this year.

Lets just see how critical of gerrard these people and press are in the summer when he is wearing an england shirt and takes a tumble in the box to earn a pen or free kick which leads to a goal for!

at the end i wasn't putting it past degen to to wait for agger and gerrard to tee up the ball for the fk, and then run past them and **** the ball into touch

if he wasn't arsenal's best player today, he was ****ing close.

Can't really complain too much but overall i thought we were pretty good value for a draw. Arsenal didn't create many clear cut chances and on another day we'd have taken one of ours or won a penalty. Saying that though we were pretty toothless up front and the sooner Nando's back the better.

We were missing a quintet of attacking talent in Torres, Benayoun, Aquilani, Johnson and Riera too so hopefully once they're back fit and firing we can push on and go on a really solid run until the end of the season.
