I actually thought Insua had a good game, he needs to tighten up but i like his runs, he gives us more options on the left. A number of times gerrard and maxi got stuck in the corner and he gave the option to pass our way out of there.

We were absolutely robbed, not sure we deserved to win, but worth a point! So many 'average' teams have beaten ****y, watch us go there and fight for a point, thats the joke!

A win or point would have been nice, but that's another big game out of the way, and if we were ever going to choose a night to drop points, last night was it judging by all the other results, Spurs losing to Wolves, they would have expected to gain 3points on us last night, Villa got a point, but i'm ok with that as Chelsea lost, wouldn't have wanted the scum to gain 3 on the Chavs.

Yes i know it was an opportunity to gain points on our rivals knowing the results of last night, but it was an even bigger opportunity for Spurs, so they'll be gutted, really gutted.

that for me is unacceptable. a Liverpool team trying to grind out results by out running rather out passing the opposition.
Do you really think, with the personnel we had available, that we could go to Emirates and 'out pass' Arsenal?

        We'd have got walloped 3-0.

The tactics were fine, the problems were a piece of stupid defending, the failure to convert a chance when the striker was through on goal, and unluckily seeing a great strike tipped onto the bar.

I am sure we have the fittest team in the league, but we sure dont have the best team.
And there you have it, the reason why we cant go and out-football Arsenal on their own patch.

West Brom tried to out-football teams who are better footballing teams than them last season, and they went down.

We wouldn't have lost tonight had Carra stayed on, that's a ****ing fact!

I kind of admire Degen's childlike gung-ho approach to the game but he makes Johnson look conservative and as I said is a total liability at the back.
I fear he's another of the attacking full backs who can't defend and will end up in limbo because he's too bad defensively to play at full back and not good enough in attack to play on the wing.

This isn't a pop at Maxi - but for me - if Riera is fit then he has to start every single game in my opinion. Just like Alonso last season, who didn't score loads or assist loads (though the word 'assist' can be misleading), he's a key part of our starting 11 and we're a much better team with him in it.

            **** sake.
We look a better team IMO when he plays there's more of a balance to the side.

Not impressed with it last night at all, we went there wanting a point, but lets be honest, its not the first time and it won't be the last under Rafa, it seems to be his preferred tactic, don't conceded and hope for a bit of magic from Stevie or Torres.

We didn't deserve anything out of that, at least Arsenal looked like they wanted the goal, up until they scored we most certainly didn't.

We are the Stoke of big 4.

Oh, and I have to agree with whoever it was who said that Fabrigas is now one of his most hated players. What a little **** he is.

I suppose Rafa could have played Riera left, Maxi right and Kuyt up top but he stuck with the same team that has done so well for the previous 6 or so games(mostly)
I know what you are saying but, even with our squad is Kuyt really the right person to try and exploit any left back?

I would of thought he would of been better upsetting their centre backs with his endless running along with his seeming to be in the right place at the right time (going by his type of goal).

Nowhere near as bad as ****ingcunt Eboue - I don't know a single Arsenal fan who likes him as a player or an individual.

****ing hate him. I once called him a "****ing diving cunt" and he heard me, looked me right in the eye . I was sitting right by the tunnel, FA Cup game when we sang 'Justice' for about ten minutes solid. He got subbed, I told him what I thought of him, he heard me, looked at me, disappeared down the tunnel
