The problem is the majority of the time we don't have players on the bench who can change the game, these tend to be creative or pacey players, which is something we seemingly lack.Originally posted by Shanks View PostQuite frustrating that one.
It's as if he has no confidence in anyone on that bench being able to change the game.
Assuming a fully fit squad the only players fitting either of these catagories are Babel, Benayoun & Ngog.
Benayoun is currently injured, Ngog is in the team because of Torres absence and Babel seems to be a waste of space. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Some of the questions really need answers.
Esp the N'gog as a lone forward one. Let's be honest here. Sinama Pongolle had more footballing ability and pace and power upfront than N'gog and we shipped him off for what 3.5m? We will play him for a while and sell him for around 4-5m. Is it worth investing all the time in him?
Why not give those starts to Babel in a row and see how he does before shipping him out. He at least has pace, power, tricks(that actually come off unlike N'gogs) and that thunderbolt of a shot yesterday proved that though he has a couple of bad touches he can whack a couple of shots of which one would definitely go in.
And about the chance N'gog missed yesterday, Babel would have skinned Gallas for pace and Babel in general makes himself a nuisance when he is alone upfront and wins us free kicks at least something which N'gog doesnt generally.Patience when teased often, transforms into rage

Nah. Neither was any good. We'd have been in the **** with them only they'd be costing us money.Originally posted by Taxi View PostIn the past 12 months we've shipped out 2 strikers and not replaced one of them....thats why we're in the ****, its madness.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Yeah, why not, let's hijack this one. Have you have tried brewing your own stuff? I am trying it out and having fun, things always taste better when you make them yourself.Originally posted by MrsB View PostI'd much prefer a wine thread.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
