Watching football is as dire as discussing in the football forums these days. Predictable, same old patterns and crap all over. I can't be bothered, this season is a write off already. Hoping we'll improve but my love and dedication to anything LFC is waning these days, there's so much negativity around everything that is associated to the club, starting from the supporters right up to the owners, that it's doing my head it. I'm close to packing it in but I'm sure the passion will flow back in as soon as things turn for the better. Can't see anything like this anytime soon though.

I couldn't give a flying **** if he was sacked or not to be fair with you mate. I'm sick of football and the malarkey surrounding this club, with SOS, the Americans and supporters whining at every opportunity. There are too many prawn sandwich eaters those days who think we are privileged to be winning everything and that this club attracts only the best like a magnet. They couldn't be farther from the truth; it's money and money alone which drives this circus nowadays and mercenaries like Ronaldo and Kaka who couldn't give a **** about loyalty to their clubs.

          **** football, it's become a farce.

How on earth did it take you 4.5 hours to get to Liverpool from South Birmingham?

It takes me less than that to get there from London!
A combination of snow, a broken down coach in the middle lane at Junction 14 and then an accident on the Thelwall Viaduct. I ended up having to head toward Manchester Airport, onto the M56 and across the Runcorn Bridge.

I wonder if our **** crowd is affecting the team more then we know. I mean during istanbul when we were getting spanked the crowd after half time were singing and cheering and we did alot better. But in almost every game they're pure pure crap support except in the last 5min. And we generally do alot better in the last 5min too. Go figure.

I agree that the crowd has a part to play. However, the style of football and lack of commitment is putting us to sleep. If we were getting tonked but showing a real effort, then I'm sure the crowd would get behind the team. The crowd really lifted the team against Tottenham and maybe that helped. Having said that, I've been sitting in the paddock recently below the Directors Box and the supporters there don't even join in with YNWA at the start of the game.

Ultimately, I think the crowd, particularly the Kop have just come despondent with the dire performances.

Doesn't take much to make supporters become despondent these days ...

I believe half naked cheerleaders at the start of matches would help things. Or at least help me.

                        Best idea ever!!!

We have 2 yanks in charge. You'd think the first thing they would implement was half naked cheerleaders, but nooo... all we get is debt! ******s!!!

disappointing result granted but we should horse them in the away leg when they have to attack.

on a plus note, aurelio look so composed left side he must play against city, pacheco looks like a real gem and babel again showed he is class. far and away the best player on the pitch for us.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Maybe if you were spending the best part of £100 or more per game, you might understand why they get despondent at watching dire football.

Babel was always gonna thrive against a team that showed no attacking intent whatsover.

This was the 1st LFC game I've fallen asleep in front of ever. It was as amuch the competiation as our performance to be fair. Usually, no matter how tired I am (& I was really tired), the adreneline keeps me awake even for hours after the game. Yesterday, not so. Was asleep most of the 2nd half till there was some vague noise from the telly when we scored.
                                3rd place. Worst champions ever.
