We should have won that, if I remember Baros wasted a great chance.

Tell that to Roma, who they beat in last years CL in Rome.

Juve had several chances that night, Ibrahimovic came close a couple of times and Nedved had one incorrectly called offside.

Just because you create a single chance or two, doesn't mean that's the evidence against us playing negatively. We went there not concede, and whilst we may not go there "not to win", there's very little difference between the two tactics adopted frequently by Rafa. Its more that we seem to focus on defending first and hope our talented pair can pull something out of the hat. It can be effective when we're at full strength and we create and score more than most, but when there's a break in the Torres/Gerrard partnership, chances (and converted chances at that) become very rare indeed. We need a plan B when Torres isn't playing, in fact we need a complete overhaul and formation, but Rafa has changed very little, mostly deciding to simply sway Torres for Ngog whilst maintaining the rather uncreative lucas/mascher centre. Ngog needs support and should be partnered by Kuyt or even Babel.
          Play Ball!!!!!!!
