I dont think 50k would be a million miles off, but i wouldnt put my house on it definitively. You might be right, i think it'd be touch and go.
i am sure this has been discussed before may have even been on KT but i am sure it is well known that a lot of the people on the list have passed away, but yr right......

although i would say you get a lot of people not trying to get on the list as there is no point and they may well get a season ticket.........

A kop ticket is £35 at the moment.

United are stuggling to sell out at the moment as they have hiked up the prices so much since the glazers took over.

        If we priced ours at:-

        normal league games/champions league group stage & knock out = £30 - £35
        carling cup/european qualifiers/europa league up to quarter finals = £15 - £20
        FA Cup = £20 - £25
        Friendlies = £5 - £10

I think the stadium would be full or close to full for most games.
Not that I want to pay more but £35 for a CL game is ridiculously low comparitively.

It might be, but if we had 65,000 fans paying that, it would bring in £2.275m per champions league game

            Group stages = £6.825m

If we got to the semi finals that would be £13.65m

Again, that doesn't include all the money generated from other areas on match day...and TV money in the champions league is huge...

I think the only real way to judge price structure is when we have a bigger stadium, and see what the demand for tickets is.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

But seriously, you make it sound like people posting that they disagree with something, is wrong

That's what forums are about - discussion.

This is true, but you don't need to make it your goal to comment on every issue that crops up and rankles you. There's plenty of things i read on here that i disagree with, but i refuse to comment on them all cos otherwise i'd never get away from here.

But, once you've made your point, let it go...you ain't gonna convince the other fella that you're right, in much the same way he won't convince you to see things his way.

Unless of course you just grind the other fella down, so much so that he simply cant be bothered 'discussing' no more!

True enough, this is an established method of arguing that DJS used to employ. Thankfully it has long since disappeared from this site, and we can instead discuss things logically and see issues from all sides, not just our own, bigoted view.

I just replied to a new post, directed at me. I'll make a post and that's done, but if someone then replies with a different point, i can then reply to them, what's so wrong with that?

I disagree with several things posted that i dont reply to. We've each got our own ways of posting.

Our new stadium's coming along really well too isn't it. That "sucker's" really taking shape now.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Yeah, we should have gone ahead and built the Parry Bowl, got caught up in a credit crunch and been well and truly up **** creek instead...then we'd be suckers for sure.
