You talk about masher, torres, benayoin, kuyt, gerrard being hit and miss ...but most of there performances are so much better rhan lucas's games.

well rafa assigns the roles but before this descends into something abusive i'll restate my basic argument:

lucas may be our best player this season but that neither makes him a very good player nor in any way creative. he's a functional midfielder who has performed consistently in a team that is 6th in the league and plays **** more often than not.
