How can you have players in your team like Reina, Johnson, Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres - along with squad players such as Lucas, Benayoun, Riera, Maxi, Babel etc and still do so poorly.

      I'm not being a cunt, but think of a team such as;

      Reina
      Johnson Carragher Agger Insua
      Lucas Mascherano
      Maxi Gerrard Riera
      Torres

      - Obviously that's open to debate about where we're weak and where we're strong, but 80% of managers in the PL would kill for a team like that.

Apparently we had £60m of players on the bench tonight. I remember when we had a strong squad, would field our reserves and still get a result. What the **** is up? How can our team not beat the likes of Bramble, Scotland and Kirkland etc?

Honestly. I'm bemused. How can that team - that squad - those players - not beat a team like Wigan? Wigan ffs?!?!?!?!

Trotting/strolling, call it what you want but he's is absolutely not the right player for LFC.

If we just had someone who could inspire our players (who as internationals DO have the ability to play well) to relax, enjoy themselves and play football, we'd soon regain the respect and admiration of our peers.

            Rafa interviewed:

we didnt play well, especially in the first half
working hard but no game intelligence
fernando needs more games but team need to give him better balls
too many problems to point out anything in particular
told the players they have to show more character to get into the top 4

very downbeat, said nothing positive at all
            Play Ball!!!!!!!

I've watched better school boy football.

If no one else wants to say it I will - Stevie looked he couldn't care less. Perhaps he wants out. Maybe the farcical way this club is being run has finally got the better of him.

Switch the lights off on your way out Rafa.

Because Wigan contain players like: Kirkland, Boyce, Caldwell, Bramble, Figueroa, Diame, McCarthy, N'Zogbia, Scharner, Rodallega, Moreno. Subs: Stojkovic, Amaya, Thomas, Scotland, Moses, Gomez, Sinclair.

                      Say no more, yeah

Next season the real Liverpool will turn up in the premiership.

There are no positives. We could lose all the players and Rafa and the only one I'd bat an eyelid about is Reina.
                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.
