    ROY HODGSON.

Decent. English. Knows how to play good football unlike Jose,Guus,Capello etc

Tactically very good and has a decent track record of having gotten the best out of teams with limited budget.

I'd love to see Roy Hodgson given the job. Great guy, good record and lots of experience. Would totally change the culture of the club, in a good way I think.

      And most importantly, it's realistic.

Not a bad idea come to think of it. He reminds me of our Bob a bit in terms of his demeanor.

See, i was right thinking about roy

Honestly though, is very well regarded, has done wonders with the limitations he has e.g. no money like us....

Would be decent appointment imo, and he would probably take the job with both hands.

I never thought I'd be saying this a few years ago but I too would take Hodgson. None of the blue riband names are gonna want to touch us with a bargepole with such a dearth of financial clout and such rampant uncertainty and negativity about the place. Roy would take the job, no question, and I'd take him.

Ok, so it's decided then. I'll write a letter.

Ok, we're going to need a pressure group to push this one through. I'm too old for facebook so I'll leave that to you. I'll put a classified add in the echo.

How about David Moyes? That would be ****ing funny!

David: "Yes i managed the people's club but i am now at the city's club"

I don't want Roy. Said it the other day but I think he's at his level.

There are no ego's at Fulham and as a club they have reasonable, realistic expectations. If he managed Liverpool and the pressure started mounting as it inevitably would, I think he'd crumble.

I think appointing him would bring the expectations around liverpool down a bit, which considering our financial position, is probably a good thing.

In theory perhaps so, but I don't think expectations will ever go down really. We can't go from favourites to nowhere in less than 12 months and hope that everyone won't bat an eyelid.
