Rafa takes pot shots at them and he is probably one of the mildest managers in the league.
You must be thinking of a Different Rafa then! Mr Benitez has got far too much to say in my opinion and is probably THE most outspoken manager in the Prem....which is a shame as he really should be keeping a low profile but his ego won't seem to allow that to happen. Take today for instance - last week was a "defining" week for our season apparently and we lost 2 relatively simple games so what does he do....announces in today's press that criticism should be aimed at the players on the pitch, not him. He's always been a bit embarassing in the media spotlight but I feel he's digging a grave for himself and is going the right way about alienating people.

but rafa continues to make one step forward and 2 backwards in the transfer market.

for instance he bought keane for 20 mil. when he could have used them better. the same goes with aquaman instead of alonso...

Torres will be a pro, we can't be worried about what a player thinks with regards a manager coming in.

I'm not sure it's fair to use those transfers to criticise him in that way. The Keane transfer was clearly a case of him getting parts of two different plans due to the structure of the clubs hierarchy at the time and Alonso wanted to leave and he didn't have the full value of the transfer to buy a one for one replacement with.

This summers transfers have been odd in that we have seen so little of Johnson and Aquilani. I have my reservations about both but I think there is a need to wait a while before final judgements are passed.

Keane was a strage situation, clearly Rafa didn't get all the cash from him to use in the summer
Alonso said he wanted to go, what more can you do but get the most money you can for him.
With regards the Aquaman I think you'll see the best from him next season.

It sounded like he was touting himself when he stated that the other big English teams still had the same managers from the time he managed Chelsea.

Really? How defensive and dull Inter were. Hmmm.

They played Chelsea twice, and they beat Chelsea twice.

Still it was utterly dull and scrappy.

I've never ever seen a Mourihno playing any different, apart from the one he inherited when he first arrived at Chelsea. Mourihno is a percentages manager who fiddles with tactics as much as Rafa does.

                              And wins.

                              See the difference?

Look at Mourinho compared to Rafa, Mourinho is the more successful than rafa and is plainly a better manager.

Yes he is arrogant, but he wins games and a hell of a lot more than rafa.
