Wasn't saying that, you're entitled to form whatever view you want.Originally posted by Craig_H View Post
The point i'm trying to make is that if people come along with stuff like 'I didnt like/respect you or your views when you disagreed with me but now you agree, i do' then i'm not really interested.
If you see what i mean. Not saying you were saying that, but some do give that impression.
I was simply saying that I noted a difference in what you were saying and personally I'm more aligned to comments that show respect to Rafa. I'm not blinkered, he isn't perfect, no one is. I just had believed for some time that he was one of a few at most in the LFC hierarchy that cared about the club.

That's the problem. Would love Hiddink but very much doubt that he would want to come given our current situation. Not particularly fussed on the others. Hodgson would be good, but if successful would be gone to the England job in two years when Capello leaves after the Euros. O'Neill is favourite with the bookies (who don't often get it wrong), and would probably do a very good job, but I don't like the style of football he's played with his teams to date. Maybe he could argue that he's never had a decent team to work with and play decent football with? Villa have issued a hands-off though, so it would cost us a load of money we don't have in compo. None of the others that have been mentioned particularly fill me with excitement - I certainly don't want us to get another foreign manager who's never managed in England before, and who will take a couple of years to get to grips with the English game - we need someone who can get us back up to fourth next season, or we could be in long-term decline...I still believe fourth should be achievable with this squad of players.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostShaggy, is this meant to be who do we want REALISTICALLY or just who do we want?
I'd love to get Hiddink but i dont think it's remotely realistic. So who should i vote for?

Can't help but notice you've updated your sig Craig!Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI didnt slag off Rafa, this is the thing that people like you either cant understand, or refuse to.
I think he made some silly mistakes and they cost us.
I was never 'slagging off' Rafa, i was pointing out some flaws that needed to be corrected for us to succeed.
I was always incredibly fond of Rafa and that never changed.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

That's all fair enough, but i dont see how questioning a manager's methods or decisions is seen as disrespectful.Originally posted by JHP View PostWasn't saying that, you're entitled to form whatever view you want.

Martin O'Neill for me, basically because he wants the job with a passion.
i think he thought he was going to get the job last time round, so maybe he has a plan, fuked if i know to be honest still reeling after the demise of the great man Rafa.
would like to go british, not hodgson though he bottled it at blackburn and mclaren got middlesbro to the europa cup final, **** it im going for phil thompson, someone who would cry when we cried and would be ecstatic when we felt ecstatic. thats it then sorted
