Thanjk you.

It appears likely that its Hodgson, i'm like everyone else and not convinced as he has not proven himself at top level.
But lets give him a chance, he's done well in the premier league and who knows maybe with better players, he will do an even better job and i will be willing him on all the way
I think that is a massive oversimplification of the situation (and it wasn't just Alonso, it was Arbeloa too).
Other teams spent a lot and closed the gap on us.
Our defence started the season terribly, that did a lot of damage.
We had massive injury problems.
We couldn't afford squad players
Which crazy selections?
Buckets of money is a nonsense spouted by the media, he averaged £6m to spend per transfer window, that is very low.
Which players did he willing ship out to replace them with poorer players?
Sorry but I think you have bought the Sky Sports line here.
I havnt bought any sky sports line. I was a big rafa fan and still have great admiration for him. But he failed. Thats why he was let go. And a big part of his failure was in the money he spent. He shipped out players and replaced them with inferior ones.
His insistance on playing certain players i.e. Lucas has cost us points against teams that we should be putting away. His crazy substitutions culminating in the one where he took Torres off against Birmingham were just unexplainable.
As I said he did have restrictions in his budgets but he also spent a lot of money badly. His failure ultimately cost him his job. You need to build a bridge and get over it.
I wish Rafa all the best of luck in the future, but his future does not include us.
"With Ron Yeats in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal."
That story stinks. we got rid of Rafa for 6m we paid 2m for Roy. Where did we get 8m from. A deal has been agreed to sell Yossi and Roy will rubber stamp it! Well he could not have agreed a deal as he was not their before. What a Joke
I hope not -for the clubs sake. Roy may not be my first choice but if he is the new manager i'm hoping he will prove me wrong and win us the 19th title we've been waiting for however much of a long shot that may be. If his stay as manager is short lived then it has all gone a bit wrong and that is something I only want to think about if it happens.
You never know, football is football. It could be in five years' time, ten years' time, two years' time. We have two years of a contract here, we are really pleased here, the people are very nice, the fans are very similar to Liverpool fans, with passion, so everything is going well."
But Liverpool is home? "Yeah-it's the only house we have. Liverpool is my home and I will come back."
Ill admit i have my doubts about next season being anything but a failure but i really really hope our manager can prove me wrong.**** the owners and purslow none of the state we are in is down to roy hodgson i hope he convinces our best players to stay and gets us back in the top 4.i do fear fans will blame the manager if torres and gerrard leave and say they were disgusted with his appointment when they may well have left anyway
