On the subs bench last night I see but come on...

£18M in total for this guy and he's hardly been played. I know initially the argument was that he's not match fit, but that was about 6 months ago now wasn't it? He's not going to get any better sat on his ass. The season is ****ed anyway, give him a run (albeit only 3, 4 or 5 games left) ffs.

That wouldn't surprise me. He might be a decent player for all we know but 8 months down the line and we the fans are no more sure now than when he first joined. Incredible stuff really.

Rafa seems to trust him even less after that mystery injury Aquilani declared a few weeks back. I think he probably wrote his own death warrant there.

He's a crock, not to up to it, pretty much every one at the time said the signing was a massive gamble and would make or break rafa, it's turned into a bit of disaster really.......the only way he will still be here next year is if we can't afford to bring in a replacement or if no-one back in italy wants him

Rafa pisses me off, is he so arrogant that he sulks when players upset him. Dodgy injuries with Aquilani and a gobby Riera. Sort them out and play them, we are paying them big money to sit on their arses when the team is screaming out for some flair.

so we look like we'll be taking a huge loss on aqua ( wages have cost a fortune no doubt and we'll be lucky to get bout 6-8 mill for him in the summer ) and as a result we now find ourselves back exactly where we were last summer............having a central midfielder as our prime target whereas we should have been looking for a striker / left back and winger. cheers aqua / rafa!!

are you sure? sure there is a breakdown of how much we paid for him and we didnt pay it all up front, cant remember havent seen it for a while.
