    Agree with Reece - just because he has had a handful of good games at LM, does not mean he has become a good LB.

    Let ManU spend £20m on him (because Fergie always gets his man !!) - it will just be another expensive flop from Tottenham

      Either way he's been credited with 3

      He smashing Lucas and Masher's totals combined.

      Put him with some players that actually move around and expect quick passes, and we'll see a really good player. At the moment he's too quick for most of our side. He doesn't dwell on the ball like Masher and Lucas, he moves it on with neat one touch passes.

        It wouldn't surprise me if he turns out to be a very good LB - He's still what only 20? He can certainly improve on his defending over time. But I wouldn't want us to spend a lot of money on him as a LB at the moment.

          I think he has shown glimpses of what he is capable of. Considering the season he's had with injury, adapting to the premiership, the weight of being Alonso's replacement, and lack of first team football... I think its fair to assume that we haven't seen the best of him.

          I would like to see him get a run of games to judge him properly. I'd like to see him stay, and I think his name should come before Lucas' on the team sheet.

            Agreed. Awesome free kicks as well. Plus he has the British thing going for him as well. I'd like us to sign him, but 20 mil on a left back would be a luxury signing. We need back up for Torres first and foremost and a world class winger (I can dream!).

                Can't argue with that but at the moment he's still "moving it on" to the opposition half the time.

                        I think he put in a good performance yesterday, which makes it all the more baffelling as to why he hasn't been playing more.

                            I'd been assuming this for a while, and I could understand it around January or whenever, but he's been on the bench almost constantly since then and hasn't come on very often. If he can't manage 10 or 20 mins at the end of games he shouldn't be on the bench. And while 10 or 20 mins isn't much it would give him some time to adapt to the English game if he's going to be here beyond this season.

                                Really? Wow, I'd say Parker hasn't got anywhere near the range of passing. He's decent but he's miles off Alonso. He can't even get into England's midfield, do you really think he'd get into Spain's?
