Lame weak pitiful uninspiring cowardly shambolic performance. Hand your head in shame LFC players. I'm not one to criticise Rafa either but bring Alonso/Gonazalez off instead of Garcia and Momo stunk as did playing Pennant on the left. I do hope things are that bad that we're gonna start resorting to Houllier-esque positioning of players. I'm so depressed - PL season over alreadty and we'll be lucky to finish top half never mind top four given our recent showings

Crap performance. Very worrying how our players are mis-hitting passes and then having a go at each other (Gerrard moaning,so was Alonso and others). I think Rafa has to decide on his best 11 and stick to it for a few games ....we seem to lack understanding and are not looking like a team. Utd were lucky we were so bad because they were not so good but in the end it looked easy for them.
I think this season is going to be a bad one...all teams/managers have them...the question is are we going to be able to sort it out ?

what gets me is that man for man we are better than them in most postions but we don't seem to be playing with the same fluency as them.

i honestly don't believe we are better man for man than they are. there's some players who are much of a muchness, but whenever we beat them man for man its marginal, and when they beat us man for man the difference in class is often overwhelming - giggs, rooney, saha

its a difference in class, we are more workmanlike and when we dont work as a team, well you saw today what we look like. Thay have fluency and cohesiveness we are a rabble!!

5-4-1 Kuyt up front alone? we got outplayed in the midfield when it was 5vs4? Gonzalez for pennant? Alonso for Crouch? A reet royal ****-up.

Out played and out classed. United were brilliant, right tactics, passed there way forward and had players passing and moving. We were chasing shadows for most of the match!

Personally embarrased and bewildered on where we go from here.

Course i do mate. But it was the way we were structured that resulted in the way we played and were defeated. Alonso for Crouch... two goals down need to push forward and start making chances, so why did he take alonso off instead of momo? Rafa just dug the hole deeper bringing pennant on? **** that he is ****e.

Movement from our players today though was minimal, to many flicks being attempted and passing was very poor. No one to aim for with Kuyt surrounded by Ferdinand and Vidic at least everytime the ball was played in to him.

Just no positives came out of this match what so ever.
