He caused his own problems with the "sinking ship" comments. He had been in and out of the team all year, when he came in he would shirk tackles, 50/50's that were more like 70/30's in favour of him he would jump out of.. now i know hes a winger, but when the ball is there to be won.. in any position, you win it.
If he wanted to play well, he could, but his dip in form and then blame it on Rafa was what made him miss the last two months, when really he could have been pushing for a place in the Spanish national team.Comment
