Is anyone else a little confused about the away goals rule in extra time?

I am sure that the away goal advantage used to be cancelled when the teams entered extra time, as the away team would have an extra 30 mins to score one goal while the home team would need two.

Is this a recent rule change?

I think Fulham winning last night, has kept a lot of the focus away from our loss.

It would be great for results to go our way at the weekend but I just don't see it happening.

Not sure about that mate, but i'm just a little miffed that had our perfectly good goal not been wrongly ruled out we'd have been through.

Ok **** happens in football i know, and yes we had time to make up for it, but i hate seeing big ties ultimately come down to ****e officiating...especially when the have an extra two there especially for this purpose, ffs they can't even get the most important part of the game correct..which is goal scoring...and when it's an away goal too it's a big deal imo, games are decided on such things. shake:
