Mascher played out of position and never stopped untill a new left back is signed we should play him here more often so johnson can cover the left - mash =
Kuyt despite carry a knock gave his all always does and always will - it boggles the mind peopel who want him to go
    Reina for being a legend.

Babel/gerrard/carragher/lucas - meh you know where this is going - babel was best player last night - ste was al over the place but in a good way - carra getting cuaght out quite a lot but the crunching tackles on aguero were fun to watch - lucas looked assured last night

Aquilani and Johnson(as a left back) can **** off - i'll hold quite on this to see if aqau still here next year but of recent performances as the lone strikers back up he has looked a real talent
Agger - oh totally - i think the only reason i have seen people asking him to be played at left back though is because we have zero left backs which is fair enough

Mascher - a mate at the game said the same and it makes sense - why play two people out of position (mascher and johnson) why not play johnson where he is more suited, and then plaed mashr at left back

The meh players, I would like to add, I'm not having a go at them,....as above comment babel was much improved, i just didn't have much to say about the players I said 'meh' - i felt the others deserved a mention for good/bad reasons
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Babel/gerrard/carragher/lucas - meh Cannot agree there

Aquilani and Johnson(as a left back) can **** off Thats just plain wrong

Sorry SB i clicked edit instead of quote -

with babel? how dya mean? he was better or worse? I'd say yeah he was better than meh, maybe i am just being a bit harsh as the emotion has been bottled up from last night and is ready to explode all over the forum todaty I have been a harsh critic on babel, and to be fair his work rate was much improved last night

Johnson, was ****ing shocking at left back - I like him, i think he can be a get right back for us but last night he was ****e............and aquilani can **** off

I have mentioned it in the aquilani thread

Maybe it's hangover, mixed with tiredness and depression, and the fact I have only seen the game at Anfield, so I will watch it again on tv to get another 'less emotional' viewing - but i thought, goal aside, he was woeful. He's a powder puff player as i have said what that is i don't know but it's Aquilani

Babel was better than meh IMO. He tried really hard last night, not great but not bad either.

GJ isn't a LB that's for sure but he isn't the best of defenders in the 1st place. As has been mentioned by others , he offers more offensively than he does defensively. I can live with that but hopefully he improves sooner rather than later.

Aquilani IMO had a good game last night in the final 3rd where he is more suited. He's put in a better shift than our illustrious leader that's for sure, but no-one has mentioned that.

And I thought Lucas did a good job as a DM. Assured and comfortable and I never felt nervous when he was on the ball. Decent showing IMO.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

now for babel anybody who argues how **** he was last ngiht has absoloutely no football savvy and is a real **** for brains - ran his ****ing heart out, tracked back, was the only lfc player who got a buzz going in the crowd when on the ball, attacked really well, showed his confidence is returning, easily MOM last night.........so obviously gonna be dropped for chelsea game

all in though, i thought we were good last night and if only for a fit torres would have spanked them. just shows when the gaffer can get the team up for it they can really perform. unlucky lads.
                    That'll be me then.

Babel is cack. A headless chicken who has no concept whatsoever of link up play and whose only ambition is to dribble the ball infield and chase a blind alley. He is Baros without the goals

Babel just hasn't got a football brain, yes he has the skill in abundance to be a great player & he worked hard last night, but can't contribute as a team player.

He never seems to get his head up & look, just runs & runs.

Christ he frustates the **** out of me.

Babel is trying and you can see effort isnt the problem anymore!!!

He just has no brains. shame.

Babel's **** but I had in my top 3 cos at least he tried and ran his bollocks off.

Great ball from Lucas for the second, laying to rest once more the myth that "he can't/doesn't pass forward".
