I think If Rafa was given 100m and he signed Robbie Savage for 90m you would still defend him regardless...

As someone pointed out earlier when Rafa was given larger pool of money to spend he did really well.

Yes, he made some poor buying choices over the years but that is the nature of the business (every managers had stinkers) especially when you don't have big spending budget and you have to look first and foremost for cheap alternatives, which is unfortunately hit & miss approach.

We have no money. The fact we "might" have money in 6 months, 12 months or 8 years means nothing now, we're skint as it stands and our new manager will reflect that.

The club has been looking for investment almost constantly for years, the change of ownership last time did us no favours. There have been a number of interested parties offering to provide funds for a reasonable stake in the club. But nothing has happened because of H&G's valuation of the club is putting new owners off. Until our ownership circumstances change we have to assume things are as they are at present

Spurs seem to have spent a lot too. They aren't there with spending **** all, no matter how well 'arry has done.
