Goals away from home this season.

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Anyway, 'changing the team around' would be bad. We cannot afford another restructuring, this team needs stability and money to build upon what's already there.
We are not good enough to compete for holly grail with the current squad.

I agree that we should keep (if we can) the skeleton of team intact but we need lot of depth and that translates into lot of changes but that would require a perfect resolution (new owners with deep pockets) .

At the present time, as we don't know how and when sale of LFC will pan out, imo we are more likely to see the same team with few changes, which I am not sure it put us in any better position next year.

That's not necessarily the case is it? Look at the Chavs. Absolute dire for part of last season, bring in 2 different managers and now look to be on their way to the title and yes I do know they have got a much better squad than us. All I'm saying is that change can do good as well as bad.

How many away games did torres play in?

How many away games were we left with Ngog to lead the line?

I am not sure that is fair comparison. They have much more depth than us. They just needed a manager with experience and winning mentality who did not come in cheap.

5 seasons out of 6 would suggest he does set up defensively. In fact we were ****ing negative most of last season too but managed to score with the few opportunies we created. It was only from Feb till May that the shackles came off. Shove your top scorers bollocks up your arse, my eyes don't lie and they saw **** match after **** match. Some of last years performances were woeful. On occassions we hit the goals trail like against Villa and this topped up the goals scored. Yet when it mattered most, the games at home to the likes of Fulham we were found badly wanting because we create so few clear cut openings. How many tap ins have we scored since Rafa has been here? Very few.

New Owners, New Manager, New Government and same players please.

Agreed, but whose fault is that ??? we only have a reserve striker as plan B???

though. I'm somehow glad I missed today's game. Celebrating my mum's birthday really wasn't a bad option. What a **** season we've had.

I'm sure we intended to buy another striker, but Rafa was lied to about available funds.

Hmmmmm, keane was soon shown the door and we pissed 17m on a rightback when we needed a striker.

Not quite like that though as Portsmouth owed us quite a bit of money. We also needed a right back and Keane wasn't doing it for us and we got most of our money back.

When we bought our right back...which was partly paid for with what they owed us for Crouch...he may have been under the impression he had more money to spend, he was promised an extra 20mill which then went to RBS.

You may be right, but overall it is down to Rafa. 18 goals away from home is NOT title challenging tactics.
