Or maybe by selling assets, with clubs like City Madrid and Chelsea sniffing around Torres and Gerrard, that's 100mill right there...sees them through the short term.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostSurely though, the only way they can make proper money from it, is by selling the club.
I have no idea, if these figures are correct, why/how they are even still here, must make sense to them though i suppose.

The State of Liverpool FC An Idiots Guide
They are making buckets of money without even selling, they are loaning the club money from their account in the caymans, which they are not paying tax on and charging us 10% but it's not just 10% every year it rolls over which makes say 100m plus 10% then it goes to 110m plus 10% and the same the year after. Its a clasic scam.

Once they've sold SG & FT and made their £100m (assuming they do it), that money's straight to RBS.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostOr maybe by selling assets, with clubs like City Madrid and Chelsea sniffing around Torres and Gerrard, that's 100mill right there...sees them through the short term.

What else is then left for them to sell, that's worth tonnes of cash, other than the club?
It just doesnt add up to me how letting the club go into administration is beneficial to them financially.

I think seeling those players would be done with the intention of NOT going into administration, and again buying them more time, i'm still unconvinced a sale is really what they want, and if they can reduce the debt sufficiently so they can lend yet more cash to start the satdium, and so add more value to the club for when they are ready to sell.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostOnce they've sold SG & FT and made their £100m (assuming they do it), that money's straight to RBS.

All very confusing i know, and i don't pretend to have a clue wtf they're up to, just guessing like most are, as it just does not seem to make any sense.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Right how do we get that into the public domain?
Can we organise a mass email to the journo's or something like that in the hope that 1 of them prints something about it??
Edit: I've just emailed this to a friend of mine who is a sports writer for the Guardian asking if he can please use it in some way to get the truth out there (but not in an X Files type of way)Last edited by The Birdman; 12-05-10, 10:49 AM.The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Though concerned, I’m no longer waiting to be ‘shocked’ by this kind of news coming out. What is really worrying me is if Purslow is complicit in this crime while being an avid LFC fan then I don’t hold much hope for Broughton finding us the ‘right’ buyer if there eventually is one.
I can only see Broughton buying the ‘right’ buyer for the banks and H&G – which is the not the same thing. Quite the opposite possibly.
And that won’t be for a while if we are still a (dying) cash cow. H&G have a few aces up their sleeves, first use Broughton’s facade to extend the RBS loan for another year then start asset (player) stripping next year to continue milking for a further year or more. Remember we have expensive players and a decent academy worth millions yet!!One tit for another.

Dont start this mass email ****e again, RAWK did it the other day and its just going to piss them off so much that when we really need help they'll ignore the whinging Liverpool fans.
They know the state we are in financially, theyve commented on it loads and yet theres still people on here who will say its the nasty journo's out to get us, scaremongering etc.
There is nothing we can do, we've just gotta hope they sell.

I don't want them here as much as the next person but I don't see the point of just continuously crippling the club with debt and more debt.
I think it was Vermillion that mentioned in an earlier post if they were to sell Gerrard and Torres then they will be doing it just to bide time before they can further refinance the loans and then commence work on the stadium.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
