It definitely looks like it will be hard to avoid. Our finances are a complete mess and thats with CL football. Now we've lost that, have even less money to spend on wages or the team, attendances dwindle, its just a vicious circle. It just isnt sustainable.

The big fear is once you're down its incredibly hard to get back up. And this could ruin us for decades. We need a miracle.

I wish I shared your faith in RBS

      Sadly I dont

Eventually they will pull the plug but I fear it will be sometime and a number of other renewals / further promises of selling etc.......

3000 words letter. David Moore's can't even count.

So it looks like 'next year will be the same as the previous years'

I do know what you mean about RBS, but if they've agreed to extend the deal on the basis that the Yanks will sell - and the yanks then prove that this was never their intention, via ridiculously unrealistic demands over a sale price, on what basis would RBS 'believe' them the next time they come back making the same request?

What's also so unbelievable is that a club such as ours doesnt appear to have even just one billionaire mental sugar-daddy type out there, who's willing to come in and rescue us.

Put it this way, if i had billions, i wouldnt give a **** at paying £300m over the odds, to buy the club and save it from disaster. No fan would bat an eyelid at that, if they had billions at their disposal.

So all these middle-eastern folk who have been rumoured to be 'genuine fans' cannot be the real deal. No genuine billionaire fan would sit by and let this happen.

For the first time in ages, there seems to be a concerted effort in the media to oust G & H. Maddock, Echo and now Moores - the timing cannot be pure coincidence. I hope this leads to something more constructive in terms of the sale.

TBH, if something was happening regarding a sale, and the media lot knew about it, those who actually cared about the club would be more likely to keep quiet, IMO. So as not to leak anything that might put a sale in jeopardy.

The fact that they're all coming out now suggests that a sale is further away than ever, and they know this & are just acting out of desperation.

While i agree with your view point as a fan, the problem is that there is no way in hell, no matter how much money I (or i think others) had would I give GH 300m profit to do as they wish, Not a chance. Nobody should and nobody will.

My love for LFC is great. My hate for G&H is greater.

I would imagine that people who have billions don't squander millions. They are no more likely to pay over the odds for something than you or I.

I'm sure G&H are ****ting themselves with that holy trinity

unless RBS call a halt to all this and sells the club, we're stuck with these two scumbags

Mabye they know there is a genuine deal in the pipeline from owners that would run us properly but G&H are dicking them about with an over inflated price. It could all be to try & put pressure on them (don't you need a conscience to feel guilt?) to lower the price & do the deal?

I know what you're saying, and i agree to a point but what's the better option? Give the greedy cunts a bit fat profit & save the club - or take a moral highground with the ****ers, and watch the club go to the wall?

These are hyper-extreme circumstances and endgame is a realistic prospect.

If i was in a position to stop that from happening, nothing would stop me.

Again i agree in principle and in normal cases, but in an extreme scenario like this where the sheer existence of the club is at stake, i think a genuine fan would do whatever was needed.

Bear in mind how much billions actually means. If i had something like £12b, i wouldnt bat an eyelid at 'squandering' £300m if it meant saving my club.

The current valuation of the club is near 600 million. Add to that the cost of the new stadium. Investments in playing staff. All of a sudden you are looking at an investment of > 1 billion. Not many people have loose change of 1 billion. Even at Moores valuation, we only had two serious bids.

If the value of the club is around 350. You will suddenly find some serious bids will happen. Another impedance will be conditions on the sale. Hicks managed to hold on as a minor investor in the Rangers and will get a sale of the future profits. If such a condition has been imposed on our sale also, I can see why as of now, no serious investor has made a bid LFC.

Unless RBS put their feet down I cannot see the sale happening. Thats what happened at the Rangers. The MLB said sell or show us the money and face the creditors by yourself. And they also made sure this news got out in the public domain.
