I feel Moores gets too much abuse for his mistakes and a bit more forgiveness wouldn't go amiss.

We're all angry about the situation but cream is right (for once ) - the Americans are the target. Anything else is a distraction IMO.
    Another MASSIVE game

If the value of the club is around 350. You will suddenly find some serious bids will happen. Another impedance will be conditions on the sale. Hicks managed to hold on as a minor investor in the Rangers and will get a sale of the future profits. If such a condition has been imposed on our sale also, I can see why as of now, no serious investor has made a bid LFC.

Unless RBS put their feet down I cannot see the sale happening. Thats what happened at the Rangers. The MLB said sell or show us the money and face the creditors by yourself. And they also made sure this news got out in the public domain.
Naturally, but we were hearing of people worth billions in the double figures - whether those reports were accurate or not, i dont know. But if these folk actually were fans, as reported, and they're that wealthy, **** it.

I used the figure of £12b earlier, so i'll use that as an example - even if it took £1b, i'd still do it.

It'd be the equivalent of spending one 12th of my overall 'worth' now - and if that was what was required to buy the club, rescue it and take it forward, i'd definitely do it.

That's a lot of money from anyone's perspective! A multi-billionaire won't see £300m as small change. I think we need to be realistic.

I agree with you, its this modern short term looking bull**** that has the world in a state. Nobody wants to build for the future anymore.

How the **** would he know though? He's not been on the board for a year - he's no wiser than us (in fact he's considerably dumber than most of us).
            Really?

Perhaps, but work it out proportionally speaking.

£300m, to someone worth £12b, is one 40th of their worth (if i've done my maths correctly ).

Would YOU overpay by one 40th of your overall worth to rescue LFC?

              I wouldnt think twice, personally.

Well he may not 'know', he may just have a feeling like the rest of us, and he's reached the end of his tether, perhaps.

What kind of shockwaves would it cause if Livepool went into administration?

Biggest story of it's kind in the history of football, if it happened.

We'd have been better off going into administration this season just gone, the points deduction wouldnt have really mattered.

As it stands, whenever it does happen, it'll **** up that particular season too.
but jose would overcome all that right?

dont bite mate, just let it go ;-)

anyway, moores has done nothing but infuriated me with that letter. what the fook was it meant to achieve? stating the obvious. thanks Dave... get heated ffs man. slam them to the gutter. 'they should accept their position in the clubs demise' wtf? 'they should be run out of town right away. a day longer with them as owners is a day too long' is the kind of thing he should have said. pussy.

what an incredible shame. what a real ****ing shame that this goon has taken us from the summit into bankruptcy. his dad was spot on.

If Dave is just thick then Rick Parry should be hung, drawn & quartered.

I've always maintained that the Jose thing would be under new ownership. But if you insist on being a simpleton, that's your lookout.

Administration or not, debt or not, money or not - i happen to think Mourinho's simply a much better manager than Benitez, it's just that simple.

I don't have any worth, not financially anyway! I would imagine that most rich people are rich because they follow their head rather than their heart. We're not a good investment in the current financial climate, we're dreaming if we think somebody is just going to come along and pay the Yanks whatever they want and build a stadium and purchase quality players with the spare change they have left over.

Yeah i guess as much myself. Surely RBS don't want to be the institution that brought down Liverpool, as neutrals will ask why they didn't call a halt to this long before adminstration happened.

Everyone has SOME kind of worth

I know about the head rather than their heart point, but that's just it, this isnt a standard black and white business issue, not to a fan anyway, it's an emotional thing, a heart over head one, if you like.

RBS calling a halt to this IS administration. If they step in and take control, that's basically what will happen.
