Thanks for pointing out the glaringly obvious, shame you never read the white text.
Unlike Pepe, no doubt Gerrard will feel he's too good to be talking about LFC matters whilst with England.

Rafas tenure has been enigmatic at best.

We have been tactically brilliant at times yet horribly disoranised at other times.

In the year thatwe won the big one in 2005 we were desperately close to losing in the group stages.

last year we were great but Rafa decided to have his rant and we blew it.

There is no doubt Rafa is a truly talented tactician/scientist of the sport of football, but he is missing something.

Is it the human touch or personality? that would b unkind, but clearly he is a control freak.

I have really tried to suss out Rafa and it is not easy. It is in fact incredibly difficult to pin one particualr weakness upon the guy, but at the end of it all we have failed.

Its too simplisitc to blame the owers as despite what our SOS friends say Rafa has been provided funds.Raf picked our players, not Parry or Puslowe.

Rafa choses which players to sub.

Sometimes it works , sometimes it doesnt.

One phrase for me that Rafa kept repeating never sat right for me.

Every PC he always referred to the supporters.

Obsessionally as though it was planned.

What I want to see is a genuine leader not playing games. I got the impression that Rafa was always palying a game, with the ownership politics, and with everything.

This I believe was his ultimate downfall. He tripped himself up too many time.
Spot on mate. Excellent post. There's no denying I love Rafa, but what you say is totally correct.

Well it's not spot on, is it?

£27m net spend in 3 years - £9m per season - this doesnt equate to proper funds. So he's not totally correct. Not even slightly.

We have become nothing but a walking, talking euphemism for football itself in this country. We adore footy for what it is and that has been noted by certain people as a licence to print money by those who have no interest in the game. We are a cautionary tale if ever there was one. We are ****ed. I actually envy Evertonians at this moment in time.

                    Dont move the goalposts

You know as well as i do that Del Bosque also wants his squad focused on the World Cup. Every world cup manager does.

Neal is a clown, playing legend or not. He demanded money for his opinions on Heysel, and talks endless ill-informed drivel about the club. If he thinks the job is so ****ing easy, as he always makes it sound, perhaps he should apply for the job. Same goes for that other cunt, Whelan.
My thought on the white text is on why you bothered. I only asked why you would not want your opinion out in the open? But I'm not going to argue all night over the use of white text. It's you posting your opinions and you can do what you like I guess.

My thoughts on you speaking about Neal his opinions on the job, well I can watch Insua play and say he has been very poor, and that he should be doing much better. I say all this despite me never being able to do a better job myself.

As for him asking for money about his opinions on Hysel, well why not? A reporter and newspaper aims to make money by printing what he says and selling newspapers, so why shouldn't he make money? Personally I would feel better had he given the money to charity, but I don't know what he did with the money, maybe he did.

Without a shadow of a doubt our new captain. We badly need an inspiration & Gerrard isn't even familiar with the term.

In fairness to Gerrard, he has already said he will not be commenting on anything to do with Liverpool or his own future until after the world cup. So his silence should come as no suprise.

I'm not moving the goalposts, but Capello comes across as a guy who lays down the law and has probaby/possibly advised his squad to shut the **** up with regard to gossip and hearsay.

I just think its cunt**** to have a go at gerrard for not commenting without knowing why. I'd like nothing better than him to come out and say 'I'm delighted Now **** Off We've got a World Cup to lose'
