talking about pre-season dedication

A few years back, it was when we signed voronin - me and about 6 mates had been on holiday, we flew back on like a random tuesday morning, and decided as we are still in holiday mode to head to our local to watch liverpool in a pre-season friendly against god knows who, some part timers in belgium or norway......

So we walk into the pub and it's ****ing heaving!!! all our mates in there, all the regulars, it was like a normal saturday afternoon, 3pm kickoff...We couldn't believe it - what the **** are all you doing here!! - they'd all booked the day off to watch liverpool play as it had been a long long summer with no football


Moving on - no-one from the world cup will be playing - i'd expect to see kelly, insua, lucas, aquilani, ngog, pacheco, dalle valle, jonjo shelvy etc
