I don't like the way he's come out and shown such disrespect to previous managers (Rafa and Evans), but is talking about the Liverpool way.

He's gone down a lot in my estimation over the past 12 months

Houulier didn't sign any of these players.........and stop claiming he "developed" gerrard and carragher - carra has become a FAR FAR FAR better player under Rafa. Even Stevie Wonder could see that Gerrard was going to be a superstar.....

also, he admits the signings of Diouf and Diao were a pile of ****e.....he forgot about Dudek, Kirkland, Cheyrou (the new zidane), Traore (the new Desailly!!!) Jean Michel Ferri, Diomende, Cisse (14m - what the fucjk???), Vignal....

also......should we say anything about selling fowler...........or playing Heskey over fowler........no????

      FCUK OFF GED
how the **** can you say GED never made carra a better player?!?!?!?! are you blind? carra was a disticntly average left back / right back / centre mid when ged arrived and although he still played him along the back 4, ged made him a far better player than he was when he arrived. he did get better when rafa arrived but to say ged had no part in it is idiocy.

and what was wrong with dudek? he was a good player for us . . . . .not great but a bloody good keeper who helped win us number 5. i would have still kept dudek as 2nd choice over itandje or cava. there must have been a reason madrid took him.

playing hesky over fowler was bad . . . . . .but no worse than rafa playing insua over aurelio, or never playing benny from the start more often in favour of more defensive players etc....

i find it sickening the abuse ged is taking.

Mate, Carra was mostly played at left back during Houllier's reign or in a back three. Rafa made Carra a world class centre back. He also made Gerrard a world class midfielder.

granted, but i argued that before ged arrived carra was an out of sorts centre mid playing all over the ship. ged made him a regular and got the best out of him all along the back 3. rafa did make him a much better centre half though.

ste was always going to make it but rafa made him a better attacking player.

...like most on here, I agree that Houllier (like Rafa) had good times and bad times with us, but from the tone of that article I was half expecting him to say...

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We played some piss poor football under Houllier - we did at times under Benitez, but the second half of the season before last was fantastic and with better luck we could have continued that sort of form last season. If only. I never felt any affinity for Houllier, but Benitez was genuinely adored by the fans. Benitez will be remembered for bringing some pride back to Liverpool, Houllier will be remembered for being a bitter halfwit.

What a sad pathetic man he is. The last season with him was the worst football I have ever seen Liverpool play.

Don't forget this man signed Heskey, Diouf, Cheyrou, Traore, Diao, Diomede... the list goes on. The day he was sacked was a great day!

Heskey was a beast when he first signed for us and looked like a great bit of business. Sadly it didn’t work out, maybe didn’t have the mental strength for the job.

Same could be said for Collymore, more so in fact, he could have been a superstar.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

i've always said that about collymore he had everything, pace, power could shoot with either foot and could head the ball.if his head was screwed on right he could have been one of the best players in the world, instead it was a carreer that was wasted

Stanley Collymore should have been one of the best players of his generation sadly the mental side of things didn't match his talent - great shame.

Heskey was a beast but one that spent more time on his backside than anything else - saw what I would call one truely awesome game from him against chelsea at the bridge where Cheyrou scored and we won 1 - 0 he terrorised them that day sadly it was back to same old Heskey the next game!
