Great.
yeah - but until then, as he is under 21, he doesn't need to be named in the 25 man squad to be eligible to play.
If he turns out good, where in good position with wilson....i think it's why we went for him.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

from barnyard on st where they have an identical thread with similar confusion
A squad must be limited to 25 players under the age of 21. At least eight of those players must be 'home grown'. The rule becomes slightly more complex when the term 'home grown' is defined. A player is classified as home grown if he trained for 36 months in England or Wales by the end of the season in which he turns 21. There is no part of the rule that states these players must be English, or eligible to play for England. This is deliberate, as the rule must not contravene European employment laws. It does lead to some interesting anomalies however, the prime example being Cesc Fabregas who will be classed as home grown as far as the rules are concerned. As he signed for Arsenal aged just 16, he had spent well over the necessary three years in the English game before he reached 21.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

He still has to be under 21 on 1st January of his third season to qualify. Wilson will turn 21 on 27th December.Originally posted by Scratch View PostNope, that will only be for U-21 squad purposes. For the purpose of homegrown, it's whether or not they were 21 in when the season starts...hence 3 full seasons. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
